Granting Respite And Care for the Extraordinary

Why we do what we do…and who we do it for!

GRACE’s mission is to coordinate education and provide solutions to overstressed caregivers of children with disabilities. We attend to your child’s non-medical needs and provide a much needed break.

What makes GRACE different?

At GRACE, we provide trained respite resources for caregivers of special needs children. Caring for children is the most rewarding and beautiful calling in life and often times it is the most exhausting; especially when your child has special needs. The responsibility is squarely on the shoulders of parents, siblings and other family members. These families can be incredibly strong but even the strongest families can use a respite.

GRACE volunteers or “branches” are uniquely qualified and caring individuals who have a heart for service toward special needs families. A significant way GRACE recruits volunteers is by engaging local colleges and universities. GRACE has gained access to Nursing, Physical & Occupational Therapy and other students who are seeking experience in their field of education. By pairing these trained students with families in need, GRACE “branches” family caretakers to our caretaker family.
